Sometimes improvement can be seen as early as 2 weeks, but in certain cases, it may take up to 6 to 10 weeks of treatment to see the best results.

How should I use this medication?
The recommended dose of benzoyl peroxide - clindamycin is one application in the morning and one application in the evening (or as directed by the doctor) as a thin layer. In order to get the best results from this medication, you should first wash the affected areas thoroughly using a non-medicated soap, then rinse with warm water and gently pat dry. Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affected areas.
Wash your hands after each use. Do not apply the medication more often than directed by your doctor; this will not speed up the treatment, but it may irritate your skin. Be sure to use the medication for the full duration prescribed by your doctor.
Keep this medication away from the eyes, nose, lips, mouth, and other mucous membranes. If it comes into contact with any of them, rinse the area well with water. If soreness or redness develops, contact your doctor.
Many things can affect the dose of medication that a person needs, such as body weight, other medical conditions, and other medications. If your doctor has recommended a dose different from the ones listed here, do not change the way that you are using the medication without consulting your doctor.
It is important to use this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as possible and continue with your regular schedule. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dosing schedule. Do not use a double dose or apply the medication more thickly to make up for a missed dose. If you are not sure what to do after missing a dose, contact your doctor or pharmacist for advice.
Store this medication at room temperature, protect it from light and moisture, and keep it out of the reach of children. Discard any leftover medication after 3 months from the time it was dispensed.
