Does your child have "inattentive type" ADHD?

Answer yes or no to the following questions:

1. Does your child have difficulty getting focused or staying focused on a task or activity?

yes no

2. Does your child lack attention to detail?

yes no

3. Is it difficult for your child to stay focused on play or school work?

yes no

4. Does your child get distracted easily?

yes no

5. Does your child lack organization in performing tasks or activities?

yes no

6. Does your child lose things such as toys, school work, books?

yes no

7. Does your child fail to follow through on instructions?

yes no

8. Does your child fail to complete school work or chores?

yes no

From time to time all children will exhibit any or all of the above. However, if you feel your child exhibits this behavior most of the time, rather than by exception, your child may have "Inattentive type" AD/HD. If you have ruled out other reasons for your child's behavior, it might be necessary to have your child evaluated by a trained professional.
